Who is Laura?

Laura is a Canadian content creator, business owner, and corporate Work Bestie. Upon graduating with a degree in Business, Laura immediately began her career in the corporate environment. She spent the following years navigating the business world, working her way through analyst, consulting, and management positions. In 2020, like many of us, Laura shifted to a fully remote work environment and it was through this transition where she began creating and sharing relatable content that touches on topics that many of us face in our working lives. Her online audience quickly grew to over 6 million across social platforms which began opening up many new business and potential career opportunities for her. Laura spent time learning this new landscape and building new business relationships which ultimately led her to redefine her working world to focus on building out her own business, expanding her range of creative content, and forming partnerships with brands and corporations. A large part of her enjoyment of this journey comes from growing a community of Work Besties across the globe who resonate with her content. Her videos range from translating everyday language into more ‘professional’ speech, to skits on leadership and boundaries, travel and fashion, and of course content displaying the more mundane moments that many of us experience in our day to day lives.
